Just got back from Beatty Nv.
I had been questioning my mileage, and was wondering what to work on first, O2's plugs, wires, etc. 290 miles one way, and through the middle of Death Valley, yet. 24.25 MPG, calculated. I only used 12 gallons on the return leg.
For those interested, I had just installed the screened fog light shrouds from WCC this past week. Coolant temps going over never exceeded 228. It turned out to be a fun trip, once I quit worrying about the temp guage and just enjoyed the drive.
