Man, I love this forum!!! My car has been suffering from "Dim Climate Control Display Syndrome". Actually it was non-existent. Today I searched once again for the threads detailing the fix. I followed the instructions (although my circuit board was a little different than pictured) and voila! it's bright again in under an hour!! A new one is $300, so that's how I figured that I saved $300. I'm not a proficient solderer and I did it, so (almost) anybody could.
What is the link for it. I am having the same problem with my 02 vert with a very dim Digital Climate Control. I would really appreciate it. Thanks
Here you go guys. Like I said, my board was a little different than the one pictured, but the fix is the same. you can see the 8 doohickies that need to be soldered near the center, they all say "241" on them. Good Luck. Any more questions, ask away...Greg http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...ht=climate+dim
