Default CF saved me $300 today

Man, I love this forum!!! My car has been suffering from "Dim Climate Control Display Syndrome". Actually it was non-existent. Today I searched once again for the threads detailing the fix. I followed the instructions (although my circuit board was a little different than pictured) and voila! it's bright again in under an hour!! A new one is $300, so that's how I figured that I saved $300. I'm not a proficient solderer and I did it, so (almost) anybody could.

I LOVE THIS FORUM!!

I've been trying to design a beer tap mod. Of course it will only work when the parking brake is on!

Oh, great - then I'd have to buy an "over-ride" mod unit!

Here you go guys. Like I said, my board was a little different than the one pictured, but the fix is the same. you can see the 8 doohickies that need to be soldered near the center, they all say "241" on them. Good Luck. Any more questions, ask away...Greg

Let me be the firt to suggest that you pay some back by becoming a supporting member. Not all of it, just a piece of your good fortune.

I saved well over $300 in just a few months by reading reviews of products I would have wasted money on. Its the right thing to do.
