Believe it or not, not everyone that owns a C5 is on the CF. In fact I would venture to say that there are actually C5 owners that never heard of the CF (Oh the horrors!!!!! )
Lots of the former C5 owners that were here have migrated over there....just like Zilla said.
I routinely see Corvette owners at our weekly show and shine - and the majority of them have never heard of the CF, and most of them wouldn't know how to get on a computer. Sad but true.
This is so true. The Vette shop who has worked on my Vette never heard of CF untill I told them about it.
You too can have those powers if you will scroll to the top and click on "corvette forum". You will then see every board on the site. You will also see the number of people viewing that board and the number of threads on each.
A quick check just showed me there were 478 people viewing C6, while 282 are on the C5 board.
I know this is not an earth shaking event, but I'm a little curious.
Any guesses as to why this is?
Numerically speaking, the C5 general forum is lower than the C6 general forum ie, C5<C6. Therefore it only makes sense that the total number of posters in the C6 forum should outnumber the total number of C5 posters. See, so easy even a caveman could figure it out.

Just think of all the spent mod money I would have saved if I'd never found the Forum! Heck, sometimes my wife wishes we never found our car!
Honestly, I think it's because this forum has gotten to the point where a nooby can't ask a simple question without someone giving them a wise a$$ response, or telling them to go use the "search" feature next time. You dare not misspell a word or use improper grammer for fear of being jumped on for it. In addition, if your opinion differs from the group of local forum visitors, prepare to get flamed. Just my 2 cents worth. I have the flame suit on..... so go ahead.

Don't know how much this thread helped my post count. Until this post, I posted 4 times in the thread. I've been here almost 4 years with a post count of less than .75 per day.
I have been on this forum for almost 3 years and have 940 posts now. I had a C-4 for three years before I joined the forum because I had never heard of it. I joined it just weeks prior to buying an '02 roadster as I was searching for a C-5 and heard about the forum and the "for sale section". I posted the description of the car I was looking for and within a few days I got an e-mail from an owner with exactly what I wanted, We negotiated on price for a few days and my wife and I flew to Philly, Pa., bought the car and drove it back to the Gulf Coast. We love the car still.
... lots of the new C5 owners are very young, not a bad thing and I think they like LS1 Tech better. Just like in OT many do not own a Vette and the post all day long
