Altenator brackets
On my 97 I have both a front and rear mounting bracket on my altenator, but I have heard that newer years may only have a front bracket, is that true?

I'd like to figure out when they stopped using this rear bracket - it sounds like one of those small changes between model years. 97s, 98s and 99s - any of you guys have that rear bracket?

When I replaced my alternator & front bracket with chrome ones, I left off the rear bracket. No problems at all with the new setup. I thing that 97 was the only year that had the rear bracket. I got one that I had powder coated black (the one I removed)
