Vendor Bone Job
So I do my research and find the best deal on a borla stinger for my '00. I call the vendor () they take the order, say they have to check for availability and call me back. He calls back with the new price over $100 more than listed online. WTF? So where is the best place to buy a borla exhaust?

If he's advertising the price online and it's truly for the exact same thing, you should respectfully ask him to honor it. It could very well be a mistake or oversight on his behalf -- maybe they never updated the site after a price increase or something. But to false advertise/bait and switch is just wrong, and probably illegal. Give him a chance to do the right thing. Good luck.

I would work with the vendor first and discuss the online price you have vs the phone price
