Default Need Custom Interior Leather Company...

Yes, I know, I KNOW, VE. But VE says they cannot make me custom seats that I want. I was looking for the Finish Line racing flag style leather seats, etc. like Mid America has but VE says they can not make a custom interior.

So, I actually need a real custom leather dealer that can make custom seats, etc.

ECS also does seats. Don't know if they do the level you are talking about, but it's another place to check.

Are there any locally recommended custom upholstery shops in your area? Check with some street rod people, they usually know...

Im surprised that they wont do that. By my definition they are a custom dealer. They will do any combination of colors and materials (at least leather and suede). It may be that it just takes a lot of time to do that kind of detail. Since their seats arent mass produced like Mid America's then the amount of time involved would make it cost prohibitive for them. Just my guess. Too bad because their quality is outstanding. Good luck and let us know if you find some...and of course post pics when its done.

I was thinking the same thing; in my opintion there really wasn't that much custom work to be doen because just the center insert is what would involve the checkered flag pattern. I want the VE quality too

If you filled out your profile (location) someone in your area may know a custom shop.

Yes, I'm pretty sure they do. Like some other sites I've looked on they seem to cater to newer style C6's as far as their marketing goes.

A local shop that does custom work should be able to help you out. Are these for you car or the bike in your avatar? If for the car, why not use the ones from Mid-America (unless they just don't have the colors you want)?

Because the Forum steered me away from them because of the quality of their leather. Plus, I looked at few seats with the MA stuff installed and it didn't look like it fit very snug. If I am going to spend over $1000 just for leather seat covers I want quality.
