LONG TUBE Header install question
I am installing lg long tubes this weekend, this might be a long shot but is there anyway to do it with jack stands in my garage or do you have to have a lift?

Do a search on header install & you should find some great info, including pix. I also found step-by-step instruction on another site, I think it was ls1tech.com. I've read that you can do it on jack stands - tricky but can be done. Haven't pulled the trigger on buying LT headers myself... yet. I'm sure others will chime in with some advice. Good luck on the install & keep us posted on how it goes!

On C5 you will have to jack up the front to lift the body when you put in the driver side from underneath. Pass. goes in from top.

I've installed a set on my friends vette with 4 jack stands. They were set as high as they would go but I tried shaking the car and it was very stable. We did lower it down a little when we started it up and crawled under it to check for exhaust leaks.
