I brought a 2000 hardtop and I am enjoying the heck out of it. The old owner replaced the run flats with regular tires for a smoother ride. Does anyone know if the car can carry a spare tire? Is anyone selling one? Thanks

I'm planning a 2800 mile run to San Diego and back next summer. I'm thinking about run flats for that trip. I don't mind getting stuck locally. Not good in the middle of no where NM or AZ. So, I have 14 or so months to burn up the tires I have.
You probably can get at least 1 spare behind the seats , but I doubt you have room for 2, and you will need two because the front and rears are different sizes. Than should solve half of your problem.
AAA and a cell are unless in a lot of areas in AZ and NM.
I got 1 295-35-18 half way into my C5 Z06 trunk from behind the passenger seat. Bought a small jack and folding lug wrench and now am ready for 1 flat.

I have a coupe, I bought an old wheel put one of my old tires on it and throw it in the back when I take long trips. I also have the plugs and small inflator....
