What happened to the KwikLift GP thread? It disappeared. I searched for it but can't find it. What gives?

OK guys here's the deal. I was the one trying to organize the whole deal. mike76002 is exactly right and that is exactly what happened. I got a PM from one of the Mods and was informed that group purchases are only allowed on the forum through (and hosted by) supporting vendors, and that the thread has been moved. However, we are still trying to get something going. The moderator in question was kind enough to offer to contact Kwiklift directly on our behalf and ask for their support both in becoming a vendor and for the group purchase. I have spoken with Kwiklift directly about the issue and they are very aware of the interest we have shown so far. Just before the thread was moved, we had 73 members that showed interest in the group purchase. The folks at Kwiklift were definately impressed by that and hopefully it will influince their decision to come on board.
There is no need for anyone else at this point (other than the moderators) to contact anyone at Kwiklift. Pending their decision, the list of interested members may be released to re-open the group purchase, or a new thread may be created alltogether.
