Default Vararam Installed !!!!!

I decided I could not wait for the weekend so I did my install last night.

It was not that bad. It took me by myself about 3 hours. Most of the time was removing the stock components and shrouds.

The bolts for the foglights and the one bolt for the stock intake (on bumper) are a pain in the ****!!!!! My hands still hurt!

I did not use any spacers provided (99 coupe) and installing there parts was cake.

Okay, so did I notice a difference???? YES!!!! I instantly noticed a difference in throttle response. I only took it around the block. This morning, I took it to work where i get some nice HWY miles. IN first gear, if I punch it my AH continuosly comes on. 2nd and 3rd gear pulls MUCH stronger than before and again the throttle response is awsome.

I still have to let the computer learn according to Vararam so I am going on a nice drive tomorrow upstate and can only imagine how much better it will get.

For those of you still on the fence, it was the best $300 spent. It is without a doubt a SOTP difference and the install is not hard, time consuming and frustrating but not hard.

MY $.02.

Going to Bloomington Gold next weekend and Vararam is going to be there. Plan to buy mine there.

I agree with what you say and you can't see the full affect on the dyno. Hope that sotp feel made you forget those fog light bolts in a hurry.

Yeah, believe me, the SOTP was worth those dam foglight bolts.

Installed mine 2 weeks ago. Ditto on the SOTP feel.
It took me a little longer as I took it back out and then reinstalled.
On my 04 coupe the fit against the shroud was very tight.
I like the idea of giving my baby big breaths of fresh air.

This is making me think of going to a Vararam... Been tosing betweem the blackwing and vararam... Seems the vararam is the way to go....

Wonder if they will be at Carlisle Pa in August. We have no plans on going to any other shows so far except that one.

I can not speak for the other intakes but the Vararam does make the most sense.

You are getting forced air directly from your bumper. No other intake uses those openings . The more air, the more power.

I could not be happier and again I have only put 10 miles on the car since the install and I can already feel a major difference.

I've been thinking of going from my Stinger intake to the Vararam. One of these days I'm going to have to make the switch. Seems like everybody loves the Vararam.
