My two questions are, does anyone have any pictures of a mudflap/splashguard on their z06? Also where would I puchase a set for all 4 wheel wells. I've been searching around but I only seem to come across c6 ones.
Well I noticed the tires stick out in the rear past the rear quarter panels... road debris ends up nailing the side of the car is there another solution? I'm just trying to perserve the body of the car I was hoping to find a solution that didnt require drilling.
Much better option: Buy some 3M paint protection film. It is quite easy to install. I just did it to my painted rear brake ducts. i will do my rear view mirrors soon, and behind my wheels.
I second teh notion for the 3m clear bra stuff... my '02 Z has 115,000 km on it and the fenders were pretty blasted behind the tires. I got a buddy of mine to repaint them, I'll have the clear bra installed soon. When the clear bra gets all marked up, peel it off and get new stuff installed.
I'm going to have the bottom of the doors and the entire rocker panels done also. The car will look almost like new again!
Canadian springtime is tough on the bottom half of these cars!

They even make a clear spray on guard that works well to but it isn't as nice as the 3M type clear bra. What it does have going for it is it works as intended, it does come off pretty easily, and a can of its about $8:00..
I think it's made by Duracolor. I picked up a can at WalMart...
PS, Don't let your Vette know you're buying things for it at wally-world..
Mark, as a fellow Canuck, DO NOT GO THERE! IF YOU WANT mud FLAPPERS, get a pick up!

Forget the ones that bb609 is selling. They look like they would be acceptable for track or autocross use like the package advertises. They don't fit well at all and require drilling into part of the car you don't want to drill into. The fronts will sit too low and if you hit a speed bump something is going to get torn up. I've got a set someone gave me for free. I'd put them on with double sided tape for autocross and then take them off after. Not on a daily driver though.

So, in order to keep your car from possibly looking like crap from road debris, you're willing to make sure it looks like crap with mud flaps?
Don't do it. Have your rockers repainted if things get REALLY bad (it's tough to see chips down there unless you get really close), and/or go the 3M route that others have mentioned.
