Default I keep losing my nuts! (Plastic lug nuts)

I have the painted stock wheels and I've lost 3 of the plastic lug nut covers in the past month. I've tightened them all. I thought about putting a small glob of silicone sealant before installing them (to keep them from getting loose)
Any other suggestions?

People, people, it's LOSING. I don't care how many times it's on here, there's no such word as loosing. But a search came up with 289 posts with it spelled that way. But the silicone sealant (small amount) does sound like a good idea. Epoxy would hold them, but then you couldn't get them off without cracking them. On my 98, I changed to chrome to get rid of the plastic.

You need to tighten them with a socket wrench. Turn them about a 1/4 turn or less with a socket wrench and they wont come off.

I'm thinking someone has you targeted as a "parts supply" I've never heard of them falling off.
