Cleaning Halltech Stinger Blackwing filter
It is time for me to clean the filter.
Is there a kit I can buy locally Parks/Autozone/Advance to clean it w/ instructions? Or is this a proprietary cleaning solution you have to buy from a Blackwing dealer?

I used the K & N cleaning kit , done it twice and worked good for me.I hosed it down real good let it dry and oiled it back up. It was about $10.00 I think from auto parts .

Get the K/n or the Blackwing kit. It's important that what you use has the silicate agent in it to perform the cleaning in a static state. once you rinse it you will be amazed at the crud coming out of the filter...be sure to rinse from the inside to the outside filter surface. I do it in the laundry tub in my garage. Don't worry about oiling too much, it can take a lot of oil compound and still work just fine. Be ready for increased HP right out of the shoot!
