I have the stock non chrome wagon wheels.
First Vette ever and I just joined the local club. All I hear is........... you need some shiny wheels.
I like the stockers.
Does anyone else feel this way?
The Wagon Wheels That Aren't Chrome Sucks Completely..i Like The Wagon Wheels In Chrome Alot More Than The One's That Aren't...i Have A Set Of Those Things In My Gararge Right Now That My Boy Just Took Off His Vette Once He Put Some Zo6 Wheels On..but Please Get Rid Of The Stock Wagon Wheels!
Personally I prefer one of the replacement chrome wheels that are available on the market today. I have the stock pewter gray ones on my 2004 Z06 and want to change them to the Z16 polished and coated aluminum ones..
I like the wagon wheels a lot better than a lot of the wheels I see on some of the pictures here. The main thing is that you like them. They are not my favorite wheel and they are not my least favorite either. The world would be a pretty boring place if we all like the same thing.

I agree. First off, it's your car. You paid for it..enjoy it. If you like something you see and can afford it, then do it. Why let others dictate how your car should look. In the headlong rush to make our cars " look different", we tend to make them all look the same. Again, it's your car, do what YOU think looks good and if someone else doesn't like it, so what.
When "they" start sending you the cash to buy what "they" would like to see on YOUR car, then maybe I would consider it.
I like them just fine -- I think they look period-correct on a C5. The thick spoke style of wheel seems to be coming back into fashion on a lot of new cars, too, I've been noticing.
Absolutely positively leave or put on the car what you want on the car! If you listen to everybody with an opinion of how your Vette should be or look, you'll be miserable and broke in a heartbeat.
I agree with PierEagle that in our rush to make 'em all look "personalized," they now all look alike again!
Stock wheels show their own brand of class; but that's just my opinion! John
I have a 98, I actually liked my wagon wheels. As some people said, thick spokes are coming back in. Besides it was different from most
C5s.
BUT, when I needed new tires AND had a chance to get OEM Polished Thin Spokes with like-new OEM Runflats for $1100, I did it! Shiney wheels look better on my color (Nassau Blue). I then painted my calipers and top hats, Wagon Wheels do not show these off much, but Thin Spokes sure do.

I kept mine mainly for vehicle sale some day. I also have the original tires. If I trade in the car that is all the dealer wants to see, and I sell off my Iforged wheels on the side, with all the other takeoff mods.
