I bought a 95 Polo Green vette from Corvette palace in Austin Texas.
The Car had 30xxx miles on it ,it had a small oil leak, but other than that it was fine. Long story short we decided to pull the motor and have it tweaked, and rebuilt. We discovered that the motor was possibly not the original *(We haven’t checked the numbers), the transmission was a remanufactured one from Gm, along with a reman torque converter. This is what is important, we decided to drop an LT4 in the car, and we sent the computer off. The guy calls us today to inform us that he could not work on the computer since it was locked and was made so that the car would just run.
Now we thougt to our selves(me and my dad) that the place we bought the car from ,all the corvettes have EXTREAMLY LOW MILEAGE.I just thought it was kind weird and coincidental for my "LOW MILEAGE" to have the computer tampered with, and them selling a bunch of low mileage cars.
I just wanted everone to know about this little thing that happend to me.
Although he did buy a C4, that place still sells C5s, so I think it's still an appropriate thread here as well. But yes, certainly the C4 section in addition to this one.
