Default Exhaust sound & headers
I currently have a GHL Bullet exhaust on a stock C5.

Would adding headers change the sound of the exhaust much?

I have dual-pipe GHL Magnums and will have headers installed, hopefully, in the next week. And hell yes, it will change the sound, for the louder.

A little louder but alot deeper

I have LG streets no cats and borla stingers. over 3500 and it sounds mean!

It will make it a good deal louder, especially at WOT ...headers are not for the faint of heart, but a lot does depend on which cat-back you have. I would get hi-flow cats also if I were you to avoid the smell of running catless.

Dynamax Long Tubes, High flow cats, X-pipe, and Borla Stingers sound like this with the external microphone mounted two feet behind the seats.

Here's a "before and after" clip of my C5 that lets you hear it with a stock motor and Borla Stingers only, and then post-mod once I added a cam, LT Header system, etc. The second clip is the car at Kentucky Motor Speedway. It lets you hear the car from a distance. Trust me... adding headers will make the car LOUDER (in a good way).
