I'm going to go with the Cadillac. The manual trans, lower final gear ratio, and the LS6 engine probably gives it an edge even though it weighs more.

The Caddy CTSV is 600-700 lbs heavier than the Corvette.

My prediction...Vette pulls a quicker e.t. but the Caddy takes the MPH based on the MN6.

I'd say its very close with the edge to the Cadillac. Opinion based on HP and transmission/gearing.

A lot will depend on the drivers' abilities. I've driven a CTS-V 6 speed, it is very quick and shifts beautifully.

If both cars are stock it will come down to the driver. The '99 C5 and '04 CTS-V have the same 0-60 which is 4.8 seconds. '99 C5 has 345hp and 350tq and weighs 3218lb., '04 CTS-V has 400hp and 390tq. and weighs 3847lb.
Just race and let us know.
