I voted forged. That's what I did this past winter. Now I have a sweet C5 that will run away from a new Z06 and best of all - no payments.

but you just paid it off and it only has 23,000 miles on it . my thinking is why tear apsrt a perfectly good motor , why not just dive it like it is . my .02 kind of like jumping out of aperfectly good airplane

Two years into having the vette i installed twin turbos. I just couldn't wait until i paid the vette off. And very happy with that decision
But then again this vette won't be getting sold in my lifetime

If you don't like the C6... why would you buy one just because it'll cost about the same as modding the C5 that you like?
