The only thing I didn't like about the article was that R&T used the word: "abusive", frequently and I took offense to that. I also took offense to the fact that they compared us to Ferrari owners in that our engines were about the same price as a tune up on a Ferrari and such. I feel R&T kinda dis-respected most of the 'Vette owners who really baby and take good care of our cars. Not that there are forum members who abuse our cars. I really feel proud to be a 'Vette owner and feel the article made most of us look kinda "blue collar". Tell me I wasn't the only one?
The article said said there were two kinds of Vette...Those that WERE babied and those that were abused. And thats not coming from R&T. Thats the opinion of the the Vette experts they interviewed. A magazine people dump on as eurocentric does an article calling the C5 the best performance deal on the planet and they still get dumped on.
