** Loose fan blade **
My car has been over heating and I found the problem - a loose fan blade. Does anyone know how the blades are attached? I am assuming I need to pull off the fans and replace the blade assemble or could I be lucky and just snap the fan back into place - too hot to try now?

It's not something I've heard before - just to be sure of what you've got, am I correct in assuming it is not a single blade that's loose, it is the fan assembly slipping on the motor shaft?

Correct, the entire assemble came off of the shaft. It looks like there is a shaft with a 2 - 3 inch diameter plate that the fan assemble mounts to. The fan assemble has a hole in the center that may attach to the shaft with a bolt. It also looks as if the fan assemble could also just snap on to a few plastic studs. It is difficult to see exactly how the fan would line up.
Can the fan shroud and assemble be remove without the radiator?
