Im in the market for a yellow z06 , found one it has 34k and over all average shape ( past owner not the most loving). This is the deal and the question.... where the heads up display is on the dash, the plastic cover that surrounds the opening and the material that is the dash cover is damaged. It looks like it has peeled back and has exposed the material under the leather cover. Question ... has any one ever had there dash replaced by the dealer for this type of unusal wear? If so how did they get it accomplished. this is the one thing that is stopping me from purchasing. All replies are appreciated
I would buy this for 250.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...26907070QQrdZ1
Rip everything out and replace. This would give you the perfect reason to make the then easier mods to the dash to allow for a double din nav head unit in the car. But only if the price on the car was right. Alot of work to save less than 500.00. Just my .02 worth. Good luck
That navigation system looks sweet, it controls your stereo as well? do you now have a disk changer?
Thanks!
The head unit is a Kenwood DDX6019 with everything you will need for tunes and yes it is actually my stereo. I had to buy the nav as an additional add on like most of the options you would want.
I do not have the factory changer any more. I didnt realy listen to it so i sold it and put in Sirius instead.
Good luck!
