Be thankful the car took the hits and not you. I know a guy that hit one with a benz with the top down and it took him months to walk again! The damn deer came thru the windshield and almost killed him! if he had had a passenger they would surely be gone! God bless you and let us know when the vette is fixed!

Wow...I am glad that you are alright. I had a similar incident where I hit a dead deer (*** end first) at about 70 mph. It ripped off my driver's side air dam and sent me sort of airborne. This was out near the Outer Banks of North Carolina on a Sunday night. I could smell that deer cooking on my exhaust...blood, guts and hair underneath. Took me more than an hour to find a manual car wash with high pressure hoses (found on in Nag's Head) to clean up the underside.

Sorry to hear about that man, deer suck!
This is what happened when I hit a deer about 2 weeks ago on the way back home from ECS.
To top it all off it destroyed my brand new HID housings that of course were not covered by insurance.
I hit it as it jumped in front of me @ about 55mph.
Front bumper, fenders, lights, windshield, and targa top all need to be repaired/painted
The inside of the hood is cracked in the second pic....

Glad you are OK. Good thing the deer was all ready down, they have a habit of coming thru the windshield if they are standing up when hit.

I have 6 more walls of this stuff! By the way Jeff is an avid hunter and a great spokesman for the sport.
