TPS Rebuild
This may sound strange but I am presently looking at a couple of different rebuilds of the more expensive 99 Tire Pressure Sensors.
1. Battery replacement - Easily done
2. Adding a 3 - volt piezo electric nano generator (Experimental so far, but I have a generator that works by inertia and produces 5 volts. It's the size of a quarter.
3. Rechargeable battery with a solar recharger that would be 2 sided taped to the wheel rim. The solar measures 1" x 1".
If anyone has a some burned out TPS Sensors (Part #10438853) they would be appreciated. I can use all I can get. I have a couple, but I am sure I'll need a few more.
Have a rim and tire set up for testing, but could use they additional sensors.
