Just had my windows tinted and got a stripe across the front. The guy that did it swore there would be no problems with radio reception but he was wrong. I have a 97 coupe with the antenna in the window. I think the guy used Llumar metallic tint, so beware....Does anyone have any ideas to try and fix this without pulling off the tint. I am thinking about cutting off some of the tint and trying to create an outline around the antenna. I am going to wait until monday to do this to see if anybody has any better ideas. I'll let you all know how it turns out.
I just had my rear hatch and doors tinted today. Llumar Formula One Ceramic was used because I was told that any metallized film would cause radio problems. I had no problems with radio reception. Your installer should re-do your tinting since he didn't know what he was talking about with metallized film. I read a lot on this topic, they should have known better. Good luck.

Just make sure he has not (or does not) cut the antenna in the glass with his knife !
