since a flat lens looks alright on the C5 it should be fairly easy to make a set of clear lenses. take a set of stock lenses and use a dremel to cut the red lens off of the housing. then take a piece of 1/4" clear lexan (lowes, home depot) and cut it to the proper shape for the taillights. Glue it to the back of the lens and make sure its water tight, some silicon sealant would help if there are gaps. then drill the mounting holes through the front end in the same place where the stock holes are.
I haven't tried doing this yet, but I think it would work, and it sounds very easy to do. but since I like the looks of the red lenses on my red C5 I have no motivation to try it, if someone would like to, let us know how it turns out!
