Default Jacking Pucks-Loose fit

Got the jacking pucks and put them on today. No instructions came with them and although they are supposed to not come off when turned, they felt loose. I put a big gob of 3M (5200) marine adhesive on them to hold better as I also thought they might rattle. Any suggestions?, I always jack up the car at home by the front and rear crossmembers but thought these might be needed sometime.

I might be wrong but aren't you supposed to take them off after you take the car off the jack?

Default Take off may be correct.

I think you may be correct but I wanted these on in case the Better half drives the car without me along, has trouble and "Billy Bob" here in rural Florida jacks up the rocker Panel. Ouch!

People have said the tapered ones like you get for a BMW that fit the vette have a nice outline and are made to stay on the car. I don't have them, but that's what I've read.

I have the BMW pucks that stay on the car. They do fit a little loose
but thats ok, there not going to come out, all the other pucks that I'm
aware of are required to be removed after the car is serviced.

I had one that was tight and took me about a half hour to get it back off the car. I always take them off the car when done.

Just toss them in one of the storage compartments in back. That way they are there if you (or your wife) needs them. I wouldn't leave mine installed.

I always remove them, but keep them in the car for emergency use and bubba proofing.

Hmm, Mrs. Patches would not agree - she has her own C5 and does quite well on her own, thank you very much! She even does some of her own mods!

Yep, those are just what I want. Pulled off and cleaned the pucks and will give to my neighbor for his C5. Can you send the wife down to Florida to install!
