Was doing about a 3 hour detail on the vette this weekend. Noticed the plastic housing around the power seat control was broke just below where it attaches to the front side of the seat. It isn't just cracked, it is broke.
Question is, can this be repaired?
Was thinking if I take it apart and JB weld it, it may hold. Just not sure how long it will last. Or, do I just go out and buy another housing. Where is the best prices for a part like this. I'm sure the local Chev dealer will want plenty.
I tried to fix mine, Didn't work. I think anything short of replacing it is just a waste of time. In the parts secion on the right go to corvette central
the c5 section
and put SEAT ADJUSTER CONTROL BEZELS in the search by desctiption.
They are abou 50$ a pair for a color matched set and about 11 for a black driver side one which sounds like what you need
Hope this helps

Zip, Ecklers, Mid America...all have them. It's pretty common and they aren't expensive. It can be fixed while the seat is still in, but it only takes about 15 minutes to take the seat loose. http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=2.106.5300
