Default Z06 wheel question

Can you use the rear 18" in the front AND if so can you run 295's or will they rub?

I don't recall anyone using a 10.5" wheel in the front with the 295 tires. I would think it would be very close to rubbing if not actually doing it. Hopefully someone who may have tried this will state for sure.

Try it and let us know what happens, but I think 9.5 is the widest you want to go up front.

The rear wheel also has a different offset. I think you'll have problems...
I wish someone would just try it and let us know. Seems like this thread comes up twice a week.

Try posting your question over in the auto-x/ road racing section. I have seen several post where people are looking for the 18 X 10.5 Z06 rims to run all the way around. There are several people running 315s on 17s all the way around. Some rubbing though on full lock turns.

From what I have read, running equal size tires (width) all the way around results in a more neutral steering car. Stock, the vettes having a tendency to understeer.
