Glove Box Repair
I am home for a few months after back surgery and I got bug to finally replace cracked blove box,my question is how do I remove lock cylinder from glove box latch,I removed latch from old box to install cylinder into new box and I dont see any clips holding in cylinder,it wont move at all.Does anyone have a clue how to remove cylinder.I would go to dealer but I can't drive.Any help would be great.

I just did this a month ago. With the key in the lock turn it from the 12 oclock position to about the 2 oclock. It installed into the holder deal and with a turn CCW back to the 12 oc, it was in. NO forcing or tools ! It just slips in and ya wonder what all you were doing wrong to begin with.
