Corvette Inspection
Suppose you find a used Corvette, or even a vintage Corvette, for sale by a Private Party halfway across the country.
Are there companies which have Vette-specific experience who will perform the inspection and provide the results? Will they travel to where the Vette is located and what do they charge?
Can they verify numbers matching, engine condition, and whether there is significant rust?
Since a Vette has specific things to look for, I thought a Vette-expertise inspection service would be better than the generic inspection services.
Thanks.

They dispatched a guy that supposedly had extensive Corvette experience to perform the inspection. I got a six page report and paid extra to get about 40 digital images - all emailed to me in about a day. When I bought the car and went to pick it up - there were no surprises, in fact the car exceeded my expectations.
I think they try to send someone with specific experience, assuming that they have someone available in the area that fits the bill. If I had bought my car in Wyoming - they might not have had a experienced Corvette inspector.
I was very pleased with them and wouldn't hesitate to refer them or use them myself again.
