dyno question?

dyno question?
Last week I had my 97 dyno tuned and shift points set. I think he did the tune and dyno before he installed the new 3.42s. The car feels much stronger! The dyno sheet says its pulling 292.5 h.p. at the wheels. The car is stock except for an intake [duel cone]. My question is would the car have better numbers if dynoed after the gear swap? Its an auto and the tuner said the numbers were pretty good for stock.
Any ideas on this appreciated...

Between 290-320rwhp is the average for a stock C5.

The 3.42's should not move the numbers much if any but make better use of the numbers you have!
For example: It'll pull a lot harder with the same amount of HP and should multiply the TQ So what you get is a real seat of the pants feel!
Hope I didn't confuse you!
I have heard that sometimes it can make the HP numbers dip a little and make the TQ numbers come up slightly! (Don't hold me to that though
)
