2007 Z06..I'm tired of having to press "Agree" on the Navigation screen every time I drive my car. Has GM produced an upgraded CD to eliminate this?

First, this is the C5 Z06 forum ... we don't have Nav in these cars ...

Second, no matter how many "upgrades" GM issues for the system they will NEVER eliminate that screen. It is on the Cadillac, Pontiac, etc. nav systems and is there because the lawyers INSIST that it be there. Read the disclaimer ... you'll see what I mean.

There was a LONG thread floating around for a while of people trying to "hack" the nav system to accomplish several goals ...

1) Allow programming while the vehicle is moving
2) Allow the playing of DVD based movies
3) eliminate "nanny" screen (I agree) at startup

Last I heard they were still trying.
