Default Do I need the X Pipe

After careful listening I've decided to purchase the Corsa Pace car exhaust, do I need to purchase the X-pipe as well? If so can you give me the benefits (I'm only a few months into ownership and loving it )

The x pipe gets rid of the dreaded burble coming out the back.It helps a little i still have alot of popping out the back. But i love it the louder the better for me!!

But I like the Nascar muffler sound when those guys used their engine as a brake when they slow down.

if you're going to get an X pipe, get the one that has the complete 2x2 merge (like the bassini or WCC models). The 2 pipes that are welded in the middle aren't much better than the stock h-pipe.

I bought a WCC x-pipe from a forum member and after it was installed I noticed a significantly smoother sound at crusing. Some claim that the X pipe functions in a similar way to headers and by balancing exhaust pulses you can pick up a few ponies. Definatly sounds better with my borlas.

I say you don't need it. If you are planning to get headers later then you should wait to get it then, otherwise the one you buy now, may not fit to the headers correctly. I really doubt you will see much of a gain in sound or performance from just an x-pipe. You need those headers to really see something.

That is exactly what I was thinking, I just installed a Borla Stinger exhaust and was thinking about an X pipe and my friend advised me to wait until I get headers so everything fits right
