Michellins anyone?

They made a total difference in the car. We both enjoy riding in it now. You can hear each other, she can hear people on her phone, the stereo can be played at a normal level.
The ride is smooth, quiet, and the handling is great. The car is so nice to drive now. The last 5 to 10 k with the Goodyear's made me hate my vette.
These are the tires I will always have on the vette!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For an all-round street tire they are the best for the C5. I feel robbed out of my first 6 years of ownership running the GYRFs - had no idea what I was missing.

The only complaint I have is that they are softer, so they pick up every damn rock on the ground and sling it at the car.
I will live with it though.
$1,450.00 drive in- drive out....
These tires are "plugable" and have a great tread wear life.
These tires made this an entirely different car....
No more clumpity, clumpity, clumpity at every road seam,
No more HHHMMMMMMM on the concrete freeways,
No more auto lane shifts because of road cracks,
What a differance....
Had I known, I would have swithched sooner....
and No, I am not a Michelin Salesman....
I like how the side rubber is wider than the wheel rim, helps prevent that nasty curb rash on your wheel....
and they are "All Weather" tires, unlike some others, so if ya want to go snow driving you can...
Funny story, I was at a Cruise-in last nite and there was a Pantara Mid-engine sitting there, He had just installed the same tires as I had...
Except, His were all mounted going the WRONG Direction !!!
I pointed out the little arrows on the side walls and he got a good laugh and said he'd have them rotated in the morning...
His Tire guy didnt know they were Directional tires....
Just ran out in the parking lot and shot a pic for ya....
When the time comes to replace these I'd love to consider these PS runflats. I like the idea of the protection.
My greatest concern is that is seems that runflats can only be changed/repaired by a small number of shops. The greatest protection that I look for is protection if I am in the middle of no where. How far do these run when flat and what is your take on the limited number of places that can service them?
