[Z06] High idle

High idle
I have 02 ZO6 all stock except for a blackwing air filter. This past sunday after I took it out for a drive I noticed it idleing a little high.It would not come down below about 800 rpm. Any suggestions ? Thanks Zach

High Idle Z06
I am sure that you have already read above having a clean MAF sensor about also make sure the motor is no pulling un-metered air from a loose hose, IE, Throttle body air bridge or MAF connection. This can also cause the high idle condition you are describing. My 01 Z06 also did this after I inadvertenly over tightened my air bride to throttle body hose after installing a SLP air bellow. It happened right after I started the car.
That's where mine sits at idle and it's bone stock down to the AC Delco air filter.
