The Domino Effect

several Corvettes, including a 06 Z06 in the hood.
Perhaps the coolest thing is that there is a group of 20 or so car crazy kids, ages 7 to 12 rooming the streets in packs of modded bikes.
Yesterday I got distracted from work by my son and a friend. They came in and asked if I would give my sons friend a ride.
We went for a quick blast down a curvy road, and smiles abound.
Back to work I went.
15 minutes later, 2 more kids at the door
10 rides and 2 hours later, happy kids everywhere.
The best part was when I was tucking my son into bed last night, a GIANT hug and kiss, and a heart felt Thank You.
Have a safe 4th everyone
Peace
Chip
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
That was a cool thing to do.
For a lot of us, it's not JUST the speed, the beauty, the car finish, or the heritage of Corvette. It's also that it represents a level of excellence to which we adhere in our lives, and that we want to experience in driving. Chip, you have represented excellence as a father, neighbor, and as an adult role model. Thanks for the post.
And Happy 4th to us all!
We are the house in the neighborhood that everybody slows down at to look in at the cars. The house looks really cool when the garage is open and the three vettes are exposed. A lot of people try to drive by and guess the years of the vettes, and ask which one is the fastest one. its kind of cool.
