[Z06] Air Tubes on Headers / Air Pump

Air Tubes on Headers / Air Pump

I disconnected my airtubes and blocked off the flanges on the headers, im following the tube which goes down to the intake, i think it goes through the air pump first am I correct? If so does that mean I can turn off the air pump with HP tunners and also disconnect the line that goes to the airbox and plug it?

Yes, if you are removing the pump you can remove ALL lines too. Just edit out the code and you are good to go.

the air pump is useless when you dont have it connected to the headers correct?

Worse than useless, it becomes dead weight

. Strip it all and sell it in the parts section for more mod money.

I removed my pump when I put on the supercharger and made room for the blow off valve. Edit out the code and good to go. To redeem myself, I went out and hugged a tree.
