Are you therefore increasing torsional rigidity and stiffness in the front end?

Normally called a strut tower brace, we don't have struts. So I guess you could resort to calling it a Monte Carlo bar. Problem: Where would you mount it? In case you forgot what it looks like under the hood, you cannot see the tops of the shocks. Wouldn't you have to cut through the inner fenders to mount to the top of the shocks? Then is there any room for a bar between the hood and manifold? Most importantly, would it even improve rigitity?

Yup, it's a 1993-95 Rx7 with an LS1 engine swap.

Actually - the 'brace' is there to stop thieves from removing, from the top, the engine

Nada. Don't need it. The chassis on the C5 is stiff enough.
