Default Rear hatch latch problem fixed

I've posted before in Tech and had suggestions to just "close gently with some pressure". Well that didn't work for me and after a long trip with many nights on the road I got really tired of slamming it down to latch. So...I finally took a good look at the latch (right side) and discovered it was loose compared to the left side. To get at the latch you'll have to remove the cover, remove the cargo net too since it will get in the way. I found that the latch bracket had broken away from the cargo box fibreglass were the four bolts holding it on are. I removed the inner tailight and saw how it looked from the other side. I drilled two more holes through the bracket and the 'glass and reattached the bracket with small bolts and washers. Now the latch works correctly and I now longer get the "hatch ajar" message; I just "close gently with some pressure"

Thanks also to VJ (pro street on CAC) for his suggestions and advise.
