It's a very cool gadget for the C5. I use the remote window option all the time and the ability to check the highest speed attained is a pretty cool feature as well.

Most of the big Forum vendors sell it, Mid America, Ecklers and others.

I love mine. I bought mine from the original company that made them. http://www.topdowntech.com/ I think they were the only ones selling them when I bought mine.

Bruce, We have it in both the vettes. The one in Lori's I believe we purchased from Southern Car Parts. Mine I purchased from a forum member in the parts for sale section. Post a WTB Window Valet thread over there and you should get some bites.

As far as operations goes they are great. I did have a slight issue with mine were if I hit the lock button on the FOB the windows went up but as soon as they closed they opened up again. Discovered that one at work when I came out to find my windows down. A simple run thru the configuration and instruct the module to calibrate the window operation fixed it.

One of the best mods we have done to the vettes.

It's definitely a good mod, but I don't know how anyone could categorize it as one of the best mods ever?

its not really needed, but its a great gadget to have! do some research, it has all kinds of great features.

one disappointed me a bit though. I didn't realize before I got mine that the window up feature only works if the windows are all the way down to begin with. one of the things I was really looking forward to with it was to leave my windows cracked or half way down and use it to put them up if it starts to rain or something. but if you do that they go up then all the way back down and you have to hit the button three times again to get them to go back up. this is done as a safety feature to prevent anything from getting caught in the windows as they go up. the safety works great though, if you put them up and just push down on the window a bit as its going up they will immediately go back down. I just wish there were some way to make the windows go up if they are only partially down.

overall though, great product, I don't know what I ever did without it.

Thanks Wayne. I have been pondering over this for sometime now. You know me, research it to death and then buy it. By the way, the chrome Z51 wheels look great on the wife's c4. I'll check out the for sale (WTB) section and the southern car parts also.
