Got them on mine. First off the tire pressure sensors won't talk to a C5 and the c5 sensors wont fit the c6 wheels. Second the offset is all wrong on the rear and they rub on the inside of the fender wells. IMHO don't do it. If you do then get after markets that are made for the C5.
Got the C6 Z06 Motorsport replica's by Factory Reproduction. No fitment issues whatsoever. No probs withe the TPS either. Dealsealer: $800 for all 4! See this thread: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1751952
I guess you guys misunderstood what I was saying I have original c6 wheels off of a 2006 and they will not fit right. By all means if you love the style (I do) just make sure they're reproductions made to fit a C5!

There are sure a lot of different opinions on this subject. Some people claim the OEM C6 wheels will fit without spacers or adapters. However, most say spacers or adapters are needed. Due to the difference in offset, between the C5 and C6 wheels, the C6 wheel sets back in the wheel well a full 3/4 inch. This would either cause it to rub the inside of the fender well or really be a close fit. As for the sensor problem, certainly the C6 sensors would not talk to the C5. However, I just went out and screwed a first generation C5 sensor into a C6 rim and it seemed to fit perfectly.

I don't know how you could easily go out and change them unless you had a set of C6 rims sitting around without tires on them. I took mine to the largest Chevy dealer in KC and they could not get the stock C5 sensors to bolt into the 2006 C6 wheels. Said the angles were different along with length and size. Hope you know something they didn't.

As a mater of fact I do have a set of C6 wheels, without tires, in my garage. Here is a picture of one of these wheels, with a sensor installed. Sounds to me like your Chevy dealer just didn't want to bother with it, probably because of the other problems involved.
