alright well Im ready to get bashed for this one. Sooo I forget to secure my top the other day after putting it on....yup not even gonna lie...Im a complete moron. But anyways it ended up flying off when i got up to about 40 mph. Flew up about 30 feet in the air and spun about 20 times before hitting the ground. I was sooo lucky noone was behind me. But Im amazed that not much happended to it at all. Only one corner got chipped. Does anyone know if the fiberglass can be repaired or do I need to replace it? and please take it easy on me, my friends have been ripping on me for this...haha
Lots of members of this elite club!! There are several companies out there that will completely refurbish the top (or send them your core and they send you a new one) do a search and you should find them.

You got off really lucky. Mine was cracked in the middle and scuffed up badly. I would wash the car and see if you have any leaks. If not, touch up the paint and get a new cam.
Sucks dude...Every time i mess with mine, i think of the flying roof club.Hope i never join.It dont look to bad,but to fix it and paint the whole top,you in the hundreds anyway.Id replace it.................
Glad noone got hurt, and your roof survived with only a minor scratch, but I would just get a new one..by the time you are done paying for repair etc..
I try and read each of these flying roof threads to always help me remember never to forget to latch it.
I am always amazed that the roofs don't hit a car or someone. Also how many of them escape with a minimal amount of damage. Reading the flying roof club posts makes me paranoid about securing my roof.
