Was wondering if there was a way to have a battery tender hooked up to the battery and when you want to plug it in you can access the plug without opening the hood and letting the cord drape over the fender. I was thinking you might be able to connect it inside the fender slot? Any ideas and how does everyone else do it?
I have a cigarette lighter plug on mine. It plugs into the cable from the battery tender on one end and into the lighter on the other. Battery tender makes it as an accessory. Here's where I got mine: http://www.atbatt.com/product/19681.asp

For the first 3 years I never used a battery tender...things seemed to go good for me...near the end of my warranty, my mechanic said"lets put a new battery in before the warranty runs out next week" and I said oooooook ...so here I am again with a new battery and no need for a battery tender yet.
Heres what I will do when I do get one>>>I'll hook it up and put a fender cover on and drape the wire over the fender cover and leave the hood down and cracked when not in use for a long period of time
