They have a seat that is leather on the outside with suide dn the middle and bottom middle. Ken had that seat on display at Carlisle a few yrs back and it was simply beautiful

I was looking through EBay today at 2004 verts for sale. There was one vette with sport seats that had velour installed in the seat and back surfaces. I thought it was a nice solution to the hot sticky leather problem. I would imagine an upholstery shop could do that. Or you could order a custom upholstery outfit from one of the aftermarket companies.

I heard a long time ago that the 99 Hard Top was going to have cloth seats (keep cost low on the Hard Top). I thought someone posted a pic of it a long while back. It would be cool if you could duplicate that seat in your ride...

No thats strange. The wife asked me that very same thing tonight on our way home. She really doesn't like leather either.
I don't see why any competent upholstery shop couldn't re-skin your seats with the material of your choice. It's not like leather that has to be cut and stretched. All they would have to do is take your old skins off, use them as a pattern, and cut you new ones.

I do know that the '89 C-4's were available with cloth seats, there were very few cars sold with cloth seats. If cloth seats were available in any of the later year cars I am not aware of it. I'm sure cloth seats would make it very difficult to slide in and out of the car gracefully. The demand must not be there for cloth seats in a Vette.
