One of my rear tires is wearing uneven (2004-14k-Goodyear Eagles). Can I take this to any good allignment center? Also I'm not totally satisified with the run flat type of tire (road noise). Are there any brands out there that would be better or should I just go to a good set of regular tires?
First off, you "align" the front end. You "balance" the tires.
I would have the tires balanced. Maybe some of the lead weights have fallen off. Any good alignment or tire shop can do this for you.
Many Corvette owners have chosen to go with a non-runflat tire. The GY GS-D3's are a good choice. Another is the Michellin Pilot Sport. It comes in a run-flat and non-runflat.

A good shop that does alignments should be able to get your suspension straightened out. And if you don't like the noise of the runflats, try some non-runflats like Michelin Pilot Sports, Goodyear GS-D3s. If you want a quieter runflat, try the Firestone Firehawk.
must do computer 4 wheel alignment which not only aligns 2 front tires to each other but also aligns front wheels to rear wheels. always balance on more sophisticated balancers that roadforce the tire and wheel. this permits for rotation of the tire on the wheel to better match high and low spots . the computer marks where the tire best fits the wheel. might as well do it right

I agree! Very important! My alignment shop has always done it that way.
I have the same problem with my 2004 MN6 with run flats. I had the alignment done and found that both front and back wheels were toed out significantly. Unfortunately, once you wear the tires (cup them) , the noise is permanent even though the alignment is correct. The only solution is to replace the tires. I can't wait for my runcraps to wear out so that I can put some quieter tires on. Unfortunately , my Scots/Irish heritage will not allow me to get rid of the old tires until they are worn out ( but I do spin them on occasion to help the process along).
