I may purchase a used Z06 with a GMPP Extended Warranty through 50,000 miles. Can I extend this warranty further, as long as I contact GM prior to this warranty running out of time/mileage??

You should be able to, I was able to extend mine to 75k miles.
However with as ludicrious as the dealers are in my area, I'm thinking twice of why I even bothered.
Do a search on here for preferred vendors, Fitchner, Black Chevy Cad, etc. Great prices. Fitchner, etc can specify details. You might also call out there because one of the Fitchner bros is on vac this week or so. If you were transferring gmpp, you would need a balance of 3 mo and 3000 miles.

Word of warning for GMPP...Unless the part is listed as covered in the pamphlet, it is NOT covered by the warranty. Make sure you are happy with the level of coverage before paying for a service contract that may not cover what you expect it to cover.

Only if car currently has less than 36k mi on it. I am not sure about the model year, but am sure if it has 40k mi and warranty is good until 50k, all you can do is enjoy the last 10k and save for repairs.
