thanks upfront on this one... I have a virtually new set of Firestone Firehawk SZ50 tires 275/40 18 rears and 245/45 17 fronts.
Problem is I just put a used set of ZO6 rims on that are an inch wider than my stock C5 Speedlines, The Goodyear Eagle F1's that are on the rims are almost shot, also they are 295/35 18 rears and 265/40 17 fronts.
Can I use the Firestones with the obvious size difference or do I have to cough up the coin for another set of tires even though I had no complaints with the Firestones?
Thoughts/Suggestions/Comments/Wanna buy some C5 2001 Stock rims with Firestone tires?
Thanks!
Little Help here PLEASE!!!!!!

Your Z06 fronts are 9.5" wide - and the back are 10.5" wide. According to the chart that I use - you are 1/2" beyond the recommended maximum width in front. In the back you should be okay.
The front one will be stretching a tire that is too narrow for the wheel. I wouldn't suggest it. Take a look at the chart and you'll see the recommended minimum and maximum wheel widths to which I refer.

Thank you so much! I knew there was such a chart but my searches came up empty. I would have rathe rspent the money on other mods but getting the power to the ground and keeping the shiny side up is a pretty good mod ! Thanks again!

I love my Firestone Firehawks too, but I don't think I would stretch them beyond what they were originally intended to fit in terms of wheel size. JMO.
