I don't think it's fair to use the biek Lori...
I have a total of about 93 mods on the car... not that I'm counting... And there's been a debate between me and every Vette wife I've met recently... does relacing what I have count as a mod or is it just replacement... i.e.: Stereo (NEWER MODEL), or rotors, etc.

He has a lift and has done a ton of work on Nouman's (FactoryRaceCar) car. Plus it a chance for me to actually learn something. And anyway since we have the diff out why not change the TC. That will be the last go mod as everything else after that is show mods....
Tha car still amazes me... I try not to jump on it too much but it is so much fun when I do it... And I thought my C4 was fast....
That's cool. I love to work on cars, but the gear swap just isn't worth it for me. A new 3.42 Z06 carrier costs about $1200 new, and then you have to reprogram the computer for shift points (which is another $200 from most tuners). ECS's $1495 auto out-the-door special is just too good a deal to pass up. As you mentioned, do the TC at the same time since everything is already out. Any thoughts on what stall/converter to go with? I'm thinking a Yank 3200. Not going to go to insane, because the upgrade plan has boost in its future.

Horrrrray........I'm happy to announce that right now, Beth is actually going to attend a corvette event! It's not because she hasn't wanted to, just hard to get out with a 2yo and the only day she works is Saturday when most events are
We can only do one day, so the plan is driving out Friday morning and coming back that night. That may change as the sitter situation may improve and maybe we'll stay the night. I know were going to miss out on a lot, but at least its something. This is my first time out at Carlisle. Let me know what you guys are doing.

Well Dave---first off neither one of us can spell for crap ( i spelled it big and you spelled it biek ) Secondly---I will agree that replacements are mods---you are changing them and upgrading them so---they count How's that my friend---oh wait---my inspiration

Hey Ryan,
I'll most likely discuss with Chris @ ECS when I'm there getting my headers on.
Cool I'll send you a PM on our contact numbers. Friday we will be in the fun field with the two vettes, or walking around buying stuff.
Wayne what Ryan said makes complete sense. I am sorry I could not get back to you earlier with this. You know how hectic things are with me right now.
For gears and TC you WILL need to have the computer programmed for shift points and that is something neither Oak nor I am capable of doing. We can handle the actual installation of pretty much anything but programming/tuning is something out of our league. I completely forgot you had an A4 when we had that discussion. Oops... did I say we had that discussion Sorry Lori you caught us lying
If you can do at all, do the gears and TC at the same time over ECS or do the gears and TC first at ECS and Oak and I will take care of the header install when you come down to see us
Sorry about the confusion my friend, too much on my mind right now

That's why I'm going to talk to Chris when I'm there and get an idea on how much to do it.... Lori gave me the go ahead for it....
Looks good, I want one but I told myself I was done for the summer so I can save up enough money for my snowboard trip this winter... Anyone want to donate me one?
