It is about the easiest air filter to replace I have seen.
Release the clamps, and the center section of the housing slides out with the filter. I normally put some tape on the lower edge of the hood to keep the bands from scratching the paint. It is a little tricky to get the new filter in the housing carrier with the pleats straight due to some divider tabs, but with a little care, no problem.
Slide the filter and carrier back in, and re-attach the clamps.
