Tire choice question
Hello,
I just had the great fortune of having a 1998 C5 (black on black) with just 23,000 miles on it fall into my lap. It is bone stock and other than a small tear in the leather upholstry is in great condition (I'm having that fixed ASAP). This will be my first Corvette, so I'm looking for some advice. Here's my question: It looks to me like it is going to need tires fairly soon. I'd like to hear from anyone who is running Sumitomo tires. I like the price, but I fear they might be too good to be true.

Personally, I haven't heard of any Forum members running that brand of tire.
Try a Forum search on "tires" and check out what other members are running. This will give you a pretty good idea of what others are using and what to expect in the way of price, mileage, performance, etc.
